We rode the bikes to the Nimbus Hatchery again. This time, Lollie and Andie were with us. 22mi. round trip. There was a nice breeze, but we all got a little burned just the same!

The trout hatchery is full and soon to release it's charges. All the trout looked really delicious! There were feed dispensers so we got some food and the kids had fun feeding the trout and watching them frenzie! Click Play on the movie to the right.

The salmon are not quite as large yet - but they are working on it. We also saw a Green Heron trapped inside the hatchery tank area which is covered with a net to protect the fish from just such predators!! What a life he must lead stuck in there with his food!
